R & being quartered in the building formerly used as the Gertẩm 2 Club and 1 Officer and 20 R&F at Mount Austin Barracks; the latter guard was discontinued on April 7th on the arrival of the

▲ guard has been maintained at Headquarters from the commencement

of the war.

Husketry

All units with the exception of the Signalling and Stretcher Beurer Sections have been put through the Husketry Course laid down for Infantry, Territorial Force. Army Form E.569 is attached. Field Firing has been practiced on the Kowloon City Rifle Ranges. Off Range Training, Indication and Recognition of Targets, Judging Distance etc.has been carried out whenever opportunities offered. Miniature Cartridge practice on the 30 yards range, Kennedy Road, has been carried out by recruits of all units and such others as required it before firing on King's Park Range.

Officers' Revolver Course, Owing to the 30 yards Range, Kennedy Road, being required for miniature cartridge practice and maxin training and no other suitable range being available, the firing of this has been deferred but will be carried out shortly.

His Excellency the G. 0. C. does not propose to hold a formal Inspection of the Corps this season.

General Remarks

I wish to place on record my appreciation of the cheerful manner in which all Ranks of the Corps have responded to every call that has been made upon them during the year, particularly during the time the Corps has been mobilized.

Sergt. Hajor Rigby and Corps Armourer Sergt. Avenell have both done good work and have afforded every assistance to the

Commandant at all times during the year.
